About Diana Penny

I first discovered the amazing power of hypnosis and the subconscious mind when I went through a very stressful time in my life in the '90s. It was hypnotherapy that helped me to cope and set me back on track. As a result, I learned self-hypnosis and used that for many years as a personal tool for many areas in my life. Having become passionate about the benefits of hypnosis, it seemed only natural to train as a hypnotherapist in order to help people in the way I had been helped.

I originally trained with the wonderful Mervyn Minall-Jones at The Merjon School and have added qualifications and further trainings since then. I regularly attend seminars and conferences to keep up with developments in the field. I am a member of the National Council of Hypnotherapists and am fully licensed and insured. I am registered with the UKCHO (UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations), number 81584.

I now have many years of experience and have helped hundreds of clients to overcome a multitude of emotional, behavioural and cognitive issues. Over the years I have specialised in anxiety and phobias, confidence, pregnancy, and weight control. My techniques include Clinical Hypnotherapy, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, Hypnoanalysis, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Emotional Freedom Therapy (EFT), Life Coaching and the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). My approach is to selectively combine appropriate techniques to help my clients achieve the best possible results in the shortest possible time.

Treatments include hypnotherapy to: stop smoking, control weight, increase self esteem, build confidence, release jealousy, cure phobias and overcome anxieties.

I qualified with distinctions in both personal performance coaching and business & executive coaching in 2008 with The Coaching Academy, the largest training body in the UK. I have found the coaching process to be hugely beneficial to me and the clients I work with.

I also teach Iyengar yoga, which provides me with a complementary insight into the mind/body connection and informs the clinical work I do.
