All companies need to prioritise their people. getteampeople can help you to do just that and will work with you to strengthen your team.

We believe that it is important for a group of colleagues to have fun together: relationships strengthen and a team grows stronger. But we’re not just an events company. getteampeople think that simply having fun isn’t enough to permanently strengthen your team. We plan carefully with you from our first meeting to construct an appropriate strategy to enable your company to achieve the people changes it needs. You may choose a one-off weekend event, or consolidate it with in-house workshops and personal development work; what's key to us is that we meet your requirements and deliver results.

getteampeople was set up by Michael and Diana Penny.

Michael says  I have been a consultant for more than 15 years and am a highly experienced project and programme manager. I've worked across a broad spectrum of companies: blue chips, high profile consultancies and on major projects in the UK, Europe and the Far East. I believe that excellent business processes, high level strategies and clear goals and tactics are all now crucial to the success of a company. What sets great companies apart from their competitors is that they get the very best from their people.

Diana says  I started my career in the theatre, went on to run a small chain of travel agencies in the ‘80s and then project managed and artworked in the graphic design world. I am now a registered clinical hypnotherapist, qualified life coach and Iyengar yoga teacher. I have worked in some happy and effective teams and too many dysfunctional teams, and know where I'd rather be!

We began getteampeople in response to years of attending boring and badly planned "team-building" events – we knew we could do it better!

The wider team draws on people from a diverse range of backgrounds, from television presenters and actors to ex-army officers and great chefs! The key staff have extensive experience in facilitation, leadership development and creating high performance teams. Indeed, one of getteampeople's strengths is that our own team is strong and effective.
